Piano Virtuoso Program

Professor Maya Djafarova an experienced classical piano teacher and performer from Moscow, Russia (Master's Degree, Class Piano) member of Ontario Registered Music Teacher Association. She has over 35 years of experience preparing students for piano competitions.

Maya Djafarova founded Alania Music Studio in 2001 and World Academy of Music in 2009.

Her teaching combines the rich tradition of the famous Russian piano school with her own developed pedagogy approach and practice techniques. Maya's teaching methods, personal attention and individual approach results in outstanding students performances. Maya's students have often won awards at Moscow City Concerts, European and now at Canadian, USA piano competitions.
